The amphitheater was part of Pilsen Exhibition grounds.
Last exhibition 29th EX Pilsen (gastronomical exhibition) was held
in June 2001.
Fair Grounds was repealed and in 2007 opened the newly built
shopping mall and entertainment center Plzen Plaza
(www.plazaplzen.eu)
Amphitheater standing on the bank of the river Mže be maintained
and refurbished.

Amfiteátr byl soucástí Výstavište Plzen.
Poslední výstava EX Plzen (29. rocník) probehl v cervnu 2001.
V letech 1981-1991 a 1995-2000 se zde konala

PORTA.
Výstavište bylo zrušeno a až v roce 2007
bylo na jeho míste otevreno nove zbudované nákupní a zábavní
centrum Plzen Plaza (www.plazaplzen.eu).
Amfieátr byl zachován a behem stavby centra
zrekonstruován.
Amfieteátr na brehu reky Mže, mezi rekou a
obchodním centrem, je využíván pro kulturní a spolecenské
akce.
