Long Description:
The 68 m high church was built under the archbishop cardinal
Josef Rauscher between 1868 and 1875 by Friedrich von Schmidt, the
Dombaumeister (St Stephen cathedral master builder) and
builder of the Vienna city hall.
The church has been unter the control of Congregatio pro
operariis a S. Josepho Calasanctio since 1985.
