Long Description:
In 2005, "Bears on Broadway" commemorated the 75th Anniversary of CancerCare Manitoba with 62 bears crafted from a concrete blend, weighing 8,000 pounds and standing 7 feet tall.
Since then they have all found permanent homes in various locations mostly in Winnipeg.

SUN BARE
With the changing environment, the sense of stability and permanence of nature and its’ inhabitants may be compromised. The polar bear may need protection from the sun as an evolving response to climate change. Sun Bare is painted with a sun burnt hue.

Sometime after 2005, Sun Bare has lost his 'sun burnt hue' and is now wearing a red and white shirt.
