On the church clock tower Névache Ville Haute, at the headwaters of the Clarée is an old sundial attributed to Zarbula. This shows one of Zarbula's classic styles with a IHS symbol and wreath in the frame. It is undated and unsigned. The old motto "Vita fugit sicut umbra" is no longer visible, washed away like other details.
This excellent sundial was restored in 1990 by Evelynne and Norbert Peyrot. They do excellent restorations, preserving what remains of the original and not repainting the obvious missing features like lines and hour numerals.
