One of two large sundials high above Place des Armes. This one is attributed to Zarbula but is undated and unsigned. The date was reported as 1876 by Raphael Blanchard (1891). This would be late in Zarbula's career. Perhaps it was done by another painter in the style of Zarbula. The notched rectangular frame and circle with the sun are typical of one of Zarbulas styles. The Motto is Latin "VITA FUGIT SICUT UMBRA" Life passes like the shadow. The dials was restored in 1985 by the "Club de Vieux Manoir"
