These howitzers were developed in 1919and used as artillery and fire support by our ground forces in WWII, Korea an Vietnam.
They were designed with a medium length barrel to fire a mid velocity projectile along a curved trajectory with a maximum effective range of 7 miles. They were towed by light truck, or dropped from aircraft with a parachute.
