Long Description:
The Glatiator Mosaic was found in a villa of the 2nd century and is
much larger. Only the central image is presented in this
place.
29 different shades of color appear in the mosaic using various
types of stane, glass, and ceramics. There are some places where
repair works after a fire in the 3rd century can be noticed,
because the original materials were not available any more.
