Oiseau - Stanford, CA - Smithsonian Art Inventory Sculptures on Waymarking.com

Oiseau is a bronze sculpture in a small lowered courtyard near the Nathan Cummings Art Building at Stanford University. The first thing I noticed is that the titled of this sculpture has six letters and used all five vowels!

The sculpture has a three bulbous legs with some spikes on them. A head with similar spikes makes one think of an eerie space being. A nearby sign on the wall reads:
