[ES] The "Temple of Diana" was probably built at the end of the first or beginning of the second centuries AD. It stands in the center of the modern town of Mérida. It is a temple located in the Roman Forum and dedicated to the Imperial cult. It is surrounded by a single row of columns, with six columns forming the portico and a floor 41 x 22 meters constructed of granite.

The columns have Corinithian capitals that were once plastered. Parts of the structure were incorporated into the sixteenth century palace of the Count of Corbos of which can be seen a double gallery with arches, windows and doors. Next to the temple a sacred space was located with landscaping and a pond.
