The original description from the NGS datasheet is as follows:

STATION DESCRIPTION

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1942 (PLB)
THIS INTERSECTION STATION IS THE LOOKOUT TOWER ON THE E SIDE OF CONFEDERATE AVENUE IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF SEMINARY RIDGE ABOUT 3 MILES SW OF GETTYSBURG. IT IS LOCATED AT A CORNER IN THE ROCK FENCE. IT IS A STEEL TOWER ABOUT 100 FEET HIGH WITH A LONG FINIAL AT TOP. THE FINIAL WAS THE POINT OBSERVED UPON.

The tower is located on the E side of SW Confederate Avenue, south of the intersection with Millerstown RD.


Note that the coordinates listed on the NGS datasheet (and Geocaching.com as well) are switched with another tower (since torn down) which is over a mile & a half away. The coordinates listed for this waymark are correct.
