Information from the original description on the NGS datasheet for the main station is as follows:

AZIMUTH MARK IS A STANDARD DISK, 18 PACES SE OF THE CENTER LINE OF SLOCUM AVENUE ON THE EDGE OF THE WOODS. MARK IS STAMPED GETTYSBURG 1942 AND PROJECTS ABOUT 4 INCHES.

TO REACH THE AZIMUTH FROM THE STATION CONTINUE STRAIGHT AHEAD ON HIGHWAY 140, 0.2 MILE TO SIDE ROAD LEFT, TURN LEFT AND GO 0.1 MILE TO CROSS ROAD, TURN RIGHT AND GO 0.15 MILE TO A FORKS, TAKE LEFT FORK AND GO 0.05 MILE TO AZIMUTH ON THE RIGHT.

The above directions are still falid if arriving on foot - however, Slocum Ave. is now one-way & entrance from Baltimore Pike is not possible at this spot - updated directions are below:

To reach the Azimuth Mark from the area of station mark, proceed SE on Baltimore Pike about 1 mile to Colgrove Ave.on the left.
Follow Colgrove Ave. E & N to Slocum Ave.
Continue N & W on Slocum Ave to the mark on the left about 200 feet before the 'Y' intersection with Williams Ave.
