Hidden among the trees in the Kanakakee River State Park the foundations for the former Yost Saw Mill - which operated in the late 1800s - can be found.

On the opposite side of Davis Creek the additional foundations and part of the sluice can be seen. Crossing the rapidly flowing Davis Creek is not recommended to explore the far side.
