Long Description:
Watauga County, Ashe County, Allegehany County and Avery County
have 200+ geocaches. These range from urban micros to ammo boxes in
the woods. Due to the high cache density, we have seen group runs
made through here. Number runs is not my favorite style of
geocaching, so if you asked me the best place for one day, I would
direct you to findng the silo's series and Absol Earthcaches. The
waymark coords and default photo are for Appalachian State
University.
