This neat little park is part of a web of small reserves/parks that are woven amoung the subdivisions in Bayview, New Zealand. These are magical, lush, jungle-like retreats from suburban life.
Approximate boardwalk length (feet): There are several boardwalks, each about 40 ft long.
What is the boardwalk over?: Swampy earth, and the boardwalks protect the roots of the rare, ancient Kauri trees from being tramped, which would kill them.
Boardwalk material: Some is plastic, some is wood, and covered with mesh for traction
