Long Description:

In the lobby of the World Financial Center building, in which AmEx has its corporate headquarters:

A monument designed by Ken Smith entitled "Eleven Tears," consisting of a lighted 600-pound piece of Brazilian quartz suspended over an eleven-sided pool, into which drops of water (tears) fall randomly.

This is one of the stops on the walking tour conducted by the 9/11 Tribute museum.
