Long Description:
Pattaya Hill contains a variety of religious/cultural sites for both the tourist and worshiper. One of these is a set of statues of the Buddhist monk, Xuanzang, and his three companions who travelled to India in search of Buddhist sutras.

There journey is documented in the 'Journey to the West' (simplified Chinese: ???; traditional Chinese: ???; pinyin: Xi Yóu Jì; Wade-Giles: Hsi-yu chi), which is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. Originally published anonymously in the 1590s during the Ming Dynasty.
