Excellent visitors center, as is typical of the National Park Service, which provides a audio-visual presentation, visitor assistance and a small gift shop. There may also be a Navajo craftsman creating and selling handmade items.

There is also a small display area with artifacts and cultural information of the canyon.

At the visitors center you can also obtain the services of a Navajo guide for either driving your own vehicle or hiking within the canyon. (Note that driving the North or South Rim roads and hiking the White House trail does not require a guide.)

As a suggestion for your visit log, please make every effort to supply a brief-to-detailed note about your experience at the Waymark. If possible also include an image that was taken when you visited the Waymark. Images can be of yourself, a personal Waymarking signature item or just one of general interest that would be of value to others.
