Wat Phra Yai (WM78X1) is the most well known Wat in Pattaya, and certainly the most visually impressive. A popular tourist destination. It is home to the 'Big Buddha' of Pattaya (a large, gold Buddha image). As with most Buddhist Wats (if not all) there are a sizeable number of bells at this Wat. Worshippers (and tourists) are welcome to ring these bells as part of there visit, though a small donation is the done thing to do. The Wat can be easily reached from the town centre.
