This gazebo overlooks a wetlands restoration project required to compensate for wetlands taken during construction of the turnpike's Interchange 12 a few miles north of this location.
Regular visitors will see the progress of the restoration of a natural food chain here as more native plants become re-established and native animals reappear in the area.
The gazebo path looks overgrown in the photo. Maintenance has been reduced due to financial cutbacks at this time, but the path is clear and safe.
