Long Description:
Not content to promote petrified wood, the area around Petrified
Forest National Park also exhibits many dinosaurs to help lure in
the customers. These two are along I-40 in front of a truck
plaza.
All things are not what they seem however. Obviously the one
dinosaur is very well done, highly colored and teeth and claws
showing. However, this area is the Triassic, not the Jurassic,
which means it was the time of the monster crocs and other
oversized amphibians. It's just that details like this are usually
unknown to the travelers out on the Interstate, and if it draws
them in, so what, hence we have dinosaurs in this waymark.
Visit Instructions:Have someone take your picture with your GPS in front of the
Dinosaur.

a picture of your GPS and the Dinosaur.
