Long Description:


This is a very fitting tombstone for this area as Petrified Forest National Park is located east of town. With petrified wood found in abundance throughout the area, these highly polished pieces speak volumes about the person who is buried beneath them.

Given the death date of 1935 on the stone, if it has been here for that length of time, it is remarkably good shape, exhibiting only a small amount of damage.
