Original in the Louvre, Paris. Borghese family members were prominent art collectors who owned this work which was found in the city of Antium in the 17th Century AD. The warrior is depicted as he protects himself from attack with his shield (at one time attached to the arm guard on left arm). By Chiurazzi Founder, Naples, Italy

Description: A nude relay runner with a band wrapped around his proper left forearm and a baton in his proper right hand. The figure's proper left arm is raised while his proper right arm is extended backward. The figure is mounted on marble plinth on top of a rectangular base.
