Long Description:

While Arches NP has its famous Balanced Rock, and many other balanced rocks throughout the park, this one takes a sharp eye to spot.

Rock

Found along the zigzag entrance road as it climbs the steep sides of Moab Canyon, it can only be seen by looking up while going in the downhill direction. It also reinforces the fact that much of the beauty of the park is never scene by most visitors as they drive along the park roads, focusing on the road itself and the park pullouts instead of the features all around them.
