Warrior Field at the Joe Bechtel Athletic Complex, Grass Lake High School, Grass Lake, MI. The Joe Bechtel athelic complex is named for the late football and baseball coach who passed away in 2003. On September 18, 2009 the American Cancer Relay for Life was held during the game between the Grass Lake Warriors and the Michigan Center Cardinals. The idea to have the walk during the game was that of Grass Lake head football coach Randy Cole. The Grass Lake players and coaching staff worn special purple jersey's with Relay for Life on the back to honor the surviors attending the game and walk (Coach Cole's idea again). This years walk raise over $64,000! for the American Cancer Society.
