Long Description:
This anchor is more than likely from a DUK-W or an Amphibious "Duck". The anchor is in a raised area of landscaping suspended on a crossbeam.

The plaque reads:
This anchor was used by an Amphibious Vechicle during World War II to drop off soldiers and equipment on the beaches.
