According to the self guided map:
11) Pierson Railroad Depot: Built in 1885 along the new Jacksonville, Tampa, Key West Railway when it entered Pierson. The railway would later become part of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. The depot served this active agricultural community for nearly 100 years. It was moved to the Settlement in 1982. The caboose was moved in 1983.
