Long Description:
Silver How is normally climbed from the village of Grasmere, but an alternative approach and in my opinion a better climb is from High Cross Elterwater, where the touristy hordes will be avoided.
Being fairly central to the Lake district the views from the summit are very good,The Langdale Pikes,The Sca Fell range,Hellvelyn are all on show as are many lakes and tarns,Windermere England's largest lake is also on display.
Altitude in Feet: 1292
