Long Description:
The flag has a green top with a white structure that looks like a
sun, but it is a half circle with seven rivers, the "Seven Springs"
(Siebenbrunnen) South of the village, where the river Simme has its
origin. The lower part is red with a white distaff and a sword,
this reference to an occurence in the 16th century where the women
of the village fought against invaders from the South, while all
the men were away on a different battlefield.
