Racek hut is a primitive shelter with only basic furnishings. There are sleeping platforms and an area to cook, as well as space outside of the building if tent camping is prefered.
There is world-class rock and ice-climbing available surrounding the shelter, and backcountry sking during the winter months, or year-round on the glacier. Check for current conditions either at the park's entrance or in the Alpine Village.
While hiking in the Tien-Shan's keep a sharp eye out for the elusive snow leopard!
