Long Description:Pearl St. Ice Cream Parlour
Pearl St. Ice Cream started out as a Farrell’s. This location was the fifth Farrell’s restaurant opened and was Farrell's longest-operating location. It opened in 1966 and operated as a Farrell’s for 32 years, until it became Pearl St. Ice Cream Parlour in 1998.
The Pearl St. Ice Cream Parlour is a full service restaurant that features hand dipped ice cream, sundaes with titles such as the Pig Trough (served in a wooden trough) and The Volcano. The Parlour’s specialty is birthday celebrations complete with drums and whistles.
Farrell’s once had 130 restaurants coast to coast but now there are only two, both located in California.
One is in San Diego the other is in
Los Angeles.
