This All-Veteran Memorial is in Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, California. After entering the cemetery from Piedmont Avenue, travel up Main Avenue to the first fountain at a traffic rotary.

A very detailed 3-D picture in bronze, representing all armed forces, is depicted on the plaque. The plaque includes many iconic scenes associated with the armed services, such as a WW I doughboy soldier, the WW II flag raising over Iwo Jimo, two WW I biplanes, a battleship, helicopters flying over a jungle, an army tank, an Air Force B-2 stealth bomber, and finally the fallen soldier memorial of empty boots, and helmet hanging on a rifle with barrel pointed down. The plaque is mounted on a large granite stone, which has one smooth planed side. The dedication date is inscribed on the flat surface, below the plaque. The granite stone sits on a concentric circle of paver stones. A nearby American flag accentuates the memorial.
