Worship is the heart of our life at Saint John's. Sunday by Sunday we gather at God's Holy Altar to share the Sacrament of the Eucharist, using the rich traditions of the Book of Common Prayer. Scripture is always emphasized and our preaching supports traditional Christian values. At the 8:00 AM Service, using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer the service is spoken; at the later 9:00 AM (Rite Two) and 11:15 AM (Rite One) services the organ plays and our choir leads us in majestic and powerful music in praise of Almighty God. Often we are blessed with an offering by our Handbell Choir and Children's Choir.
Our nursery is open on Sunday morning from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm.
The Lady Chapel is open daily, Monday - Friday for Morning Prayer at 9:00 AM. On Wednesdays we pray the Angelus at 9:00 AM. The chapel is a place of quiet prayer and strength, a place where God is present for us. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated Wednesdays at 7:00 AM and again at 6:00 PM with Holy Unction in the chapel. On Wednesday evenings we have a Potluck dinner beginning at 6:30 pm with Bible Study that begins at 7:00 pm. Those who come seeking the Lord Jesus through prayer, sacramental worship, and biblical teaching will find St.John's to be their spiritual home.
