Long Description:Church is located about 5 miles south of Opelousas, LA and 2 miles
north of Sunset, LA. It was used as a nondenominational church,
allowing Baptist, Methodist an or Presbyterian services to be held.
Now restored (since 1957) church stands vacant used for annual
"reunions". Church also has a small cemetery (fenced off at my
visit) on rear of grounds. Church is also significant in that it
was one of if not the only "Protestant" church in a very Catholic
dominated area.
Really Great history can be found at the website, located
here.
