I have not been able to find much information on this pole. I noticed it for the first time while visiting the park. I actually was unfamiliar with peace poles until noticing the category in Waymarking. I believe the pole was put in when the Borough Park was refurbished in the spring of 2009. The pole is located just off a brick path on the Court Street side of the park. A gazebo stands in the center of the park which is encircled by a brick path, and dotted with various memorials shaded by tall trees. The borough park is directly behind the Old Jail and Historic Court House in the center of Flemington.
