Fort Hunter stood for 60's years before it was finally torn down at the begging of the revolutionary war. This was a resting place for the Oneidas who slept in the chapel in large numbers during the war. They actually had to use Queen Anne's Chapel as a barracks during the war. A lot of history was lost here. Please check out the link. There's a lot of cool history in there about this spot. Happy Waymarking, Swizzle & family
