The old and historic Aquia Church and cemetery sit on a hilltop in Stafford, Virginia. Among the hundreds of grave markers, young Withers Moncure who died a month before his 2nd birthday lies beneath a broken column. The inscription reads:

TO LITTLE WITHERS
SON OF R.C.L & N.W. MONCURE
BORN AUG. 25,1889,
DIED JULY 16,1891
----------
Safe in the arms of Jesus

His father, Richard Cassius Lee and mother, Nannie Waller, lie nearby.
