Visited at 10:15am on Saturday 03Oct09. It was located beside Ridge Road between Menzies Creek and Kallista.
This one is known as the Johns Hill Trig Station. It is 419.6 metres above sea level. The survey tablet was installed on 21 Dec 1944 and the beacon in 1953.
Observations taken from here were used in the preparation of the Two Inch to One Mile topo maps of the area.
