The streets led from Köngen over Cannstatt to Wimpfen and further over Heidelberg and Ladenburg to the provincial capital Mainz.

The part of the street, exposed in the year 1985 from the city Kornwestheim, has an average breadth of 4.4 meter.
The upper layer consists from shell limestone plates, tranfered into small shell limestones, limestone gravel and sandy loess.
The street is curved easily to the middle.
The western road ditch remained unchanged for about 15 cm deeply.
The cartwheel traces that are well-worn into the stones are particularly remarkable.
The exposed plant is one of the few original Roman roads that are visible in Baden-Württemberg.
Most Relevant Historical Period: Roman Empire > 27 B.C.
