The main feature of this park is the spectacular view of the Columbia River. It also includes an amphitheater and a stage (gazebo) with electricity which can be reserved at no charge for weddings, receptions and community events. There is handicap-access viewing platform, restrooms with showers. There is also a memorial to Seaman, the Newfoundland which accompanied Meriwether Lewis and the Corps of Discovery. There is free wifi access. Dogs are welcome. There is a small playground and a memorial bench and several picnic tables.
The amphitheater is "dedicated to the memory of Tom Brumbaugh who improved St. Helens through his students music from 1957 to 1988. His dedication to students and community continues with the investment in this park, and the music program within our schools."
The gazebo was donated to the City of St. Helens by Grace Chambers Sonneland, October 1987.
The park is adjacent to the St. Helens Landing (Columbia River Mile 86).
