The bridge is located at the yellow-blazed hiking trail, parallel to the railroad bridge and close to the former Zabela train stop. There is an information sign of a nature trail nearby, informing about the place history: the train stop at Zabela was created in 1889 and in 1923, a walking trail to Bukovec with footbridges has been built. In 1937 wooden footbridges were replaced with concrete ones and in 2004 there was a return to the wood again.
