This waterfall is remote yet reachable by automobile. It is in the foothills of Clinch Mountain near Thorn Hill, TN. The creek formerly had a mill located just a few feet below the falls and only support stones and a levee remains. There is a short walk, perhaps 200 ft. t the falls. Locals who know of the falls swim in the pool in front of the falls. When this photo was taken, the water flow was down. The horsetail, segmented falls are not large, but the beauty of the place and serenity around the falls is very relaxing.
Take US 25E toward Middlesboro. Just as one passes over Norris Lake, Indidan Creek rd is on right. Proceed about 1.5 mi to Johnson Rd. Turn right on gravel rd, cross Indian Creek. Proceed about 1000 ft and before crossing Joe Mill Creek, park and look to left.
