Long Description:
Fishing from the handicap-acessible pier in Point Lookout State Park, Maryland is allowed 24 hours a day. There is fishing from the shore, but large rip-rap boulders line the shoreline making the pier the preferred choice for most anglers.

There are entrance fees to Point Lookout State Park:

• Weekends and holidays (May-September):
  • MD residents - $5/person
  • Out-of-state residents - $6/person
• All other times:
  • MD residents - $3/vehicle
  • Out-of-state residents - $4/vehicle
  • Active Military w/I.D.are exempt
• Night fishing from sunset to 6 AM:
  • MD residents - $3/vehicle
  • Out-of-state residents - $4/vehicle

Any persons not actively fishing must leave at sunset.

A valid Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing license is required for anyone over 16.
