This old, historical cross stands alone near the A35.

Located at the junction of Salisbury Road and Hawthorn Road, Ambury Lane also leads off from this intersection and the A35 (Christchurch Bypass) is next door. The village of Burton lies to the north.
There is only a stone stump remaining and a series of worn steps on the plinth. It stands on a small grass verge. We would love to know more about this historic cross if anyone knows?
