Come to the Botanic Gardens and watch the beauty of Nature as it changes daily. You can enjoy each season of the year - each with a beauty and uniquness all its own. Walk this gorgeous 385-acre park and be totally captivated by the 26 display gardens and 3 unique settings on the 9 islands surrounded by lakes. There are 15 acres of prairie and 100 acres of woods, with nicely kept wood-chip paths to follow. One of the most spectaculor settings is this waterfall cascading down the rocks on three different levels. You can walk over the falls and enjoy a different view at each level. It is not uncommon to find the resident duck family swimming along and greeting visitors at the bottom of the falls. It is a wonderful treat to walk through the woods and suddenly stumble on this awesome sight. Take time to sit and enjoy the falls and appreciate Nature at it's best!
