Ann Arbor Railroad System caboose AA 2834 - Zanesville, Ohio - Train Cabooses on Waymarking.com

This abandoned caboose is found between a small rail yard and a freight station containing (mostly vacated) shops along Market St, west of Third St., in Zanesville, Ohio. The "Ann Arbor Railroad System" lettering is gone; only the ghost image can be seen in the shading of the red paint. The interrior is gutted. Steps and a viewing platform (with a missing plank) are available to view the interrior. The number 231 on the Zanesville AA caboose is probably a street number. It is not a valid AA caboose number and the real number of this car was AA 2834.
