Station 46

Built in 1964, this two story fire station facility provides fire protection and ALS response coverage for the beach community. Station #46 serves the beach area, which includes a year round residential community, restaurants, and a wide variety of specialty shops, high-rise hotels and condominiums.

This two bay drive-thru facility is equipped with one engine company, one ALS rescue unit (4x4). Full staffing consists of one lieutenant, one driver operator, one firefighter, one lead paramedic and one paramedic.

This facility also houses a Jet Ski and a four-wheel drive mule for beach access, for surface water rescue operations, and special event needs.
