This cannon was retrieved from the San Antonio River in 1939 in San Antonio near the Alamo. It is a 6 pounder and fired a 6 pound cannonball.
The cannon torch hole was spiked and an oversized cannonball jammed into the barrel disabling the barrel.
Estimated weight of the cannon is 600-700 pounds.
