From the Train Mountain Rolling Stock Pages:

"Columbia & Cowlitz Center Cupola Caboose 5. Located at Highway 97 Gate in Blue Caboose Campground and is a landmark for Highway 97 truckers who can easily see it over the firewood fence. Originally built by the Great Northern Railway at their St. Cloud, MN shops in October 1951, it was numbered X-293 and received a red color scheme."

"In the late 1960s it was repainted Big Sky Blue. At the time of the merger, it became Burlington Northern 111318 in February 1972, and was painted Burlington Northern Green. Thereafter, it was sold to Weyerhaeuser in June of 1979."

"The details of the transfer from Weyerhaeuser to Columbia and Cowlitz are not known. Train Mountain acquired it from a scrapper in the early 1990s with its Columbia and Cowlitz paint scheme."
