An omnivorous tree encroaches on the final resting place of the Pembrokes in the graveyard of the Trinity Episcopal Church in historic St. Mary's City. One side of the tree resembles a huge hand holding down a corner of the flat marker and the other side of this granite-grabbing tree keeps two smaller markers in its clasp.
