What amazed me when I visited this church was the huge number of graves there considering the village is so small. The graveyard near the church is well maintained but the area of graves to the east has been left to run wild. Maybe the condition of the headstones makes it dangerous to perform ground maintenance in this area.
St Thomas a Becket's Church, Farlam, designed by Anthony Salvin, 1860. It has a nave with double bellcote, North aisle and chancel.
The three light East window depicts the Resurrection, Crucifixion, and Ascension, by RB Edmundson. Several other windows by Clayton and Bell, including one of Queen Victoria, kneeling, attended by an angel, as a memorial to Queen Victoria (1897).
